Music – Duets with Wally Brown

I met Wally Brown when I was 15 and Wally was 29. He became my teacher, mentor, record producer, and lifelong friend. He and I worked well together because we both played by ear and had similar styles and instincts. As a result, we were able to create some nice duets. While Wally sometimes played in groups, I believe I am the only person he ever did a keyboard duet with. The duet of “Arriverderci Roma” was put together just before we taped a TV show. I had never played the song before, and we only went through it a couple of times before the show.
